Some recent encouraging emails:
Don,
I just started listening to some of your past programs,
and I'm hooked. You bring some of the best, most
reasoned arguments to the discussion of religion that
I've heard yet. More importantly, you do this through
the application of logic and with a professional respect
for your guests.
While I am an atheist, I hope never to be so close
minded as to not even listen to or consider other points
of view. I have a respect for your understanding that
being a Christian is more than just showing up at church
every Sunday. I believe that many Christians think of
the Bible as well-intentioned fables rather than a
factual account and this has the effect of diluting the
theology and opening it to debate.
Thanks for offering all this discussion and content for
free!
Best wishes.

Hi Don:
I live in Freeport, Maine. I found your show on Itunes.
I'm 48 yrs old. I have always been interested in the
Bible and understanding Christianity. I attend a bible
study every two weeks with a group of very knowledgeable
Christians.
You could say I'm a fence sitter that is leaning heavily
away from belief in Christianity. I enjoy and value
discussions with believers. I really don't agree with
you on you belief that Christianity is logical to
believe in or that there is credible evidence to support
it.
I've listened to two of your shows and really enjoyed
them, (Mormon and Scientologist). Thank you for making
your shows available. I like your style, (combative with
a smile).

Dear Bro. Don,
I am a faithful
listener from the island
of Saipan (a
small commonwealth island near Guam).
I am thankful and grateful for your ministry. I use
excerpt of debates in a Bible class I teach, and I love
to listen to your sermons.

Hello Mr. Johnson,
I missed going to
church on Sunday and was disappointed until I heard your
radio sermon on March 5, 2006. You were speaking about
false assurance and bam, I said wow this applies to me.
I was saved 15 years ago and I just knew I was going to
Heaven. But after listening to you I might not have made
it. I know the word but there are many things missing in
my walk and love is one that is holding me back. I knew
I had work to do, but I now realize the only thing I
have to do is to allow the Lord manifest the love he has
in me to others. It has been hard for me to do this,
especially since I never had any hugs, kisses, or love
expressed to me by my parents and grandmother who raised
me for 13 years. I am now 58 years old I really know the
truth now which makes me accountable. That’s why I want
the free tape of the sermon to listen to over again and
to share it with others I know who think they are saved
but may be in for a rude awakening on judgment day. I am
not being judgmental but the word that I heard on Sunday
was the judge for me and others. Hearing your sermon was
both what I needed to hear and it cut me deeply. This is
the first time that I experienced the Word being a two
edge sword.
Thank you and God bless
you,

Hi Don,
I've just recently been listening to your backlog of
podcasts and have found them to be well worth the
listen. I'm not a Christian and I am soberly
undecided on what is
True, however I do find many of the aspects of what you
say and how you approach it compelling, straightforward
and encouraging.
The specific reason I wrote you, other than to thank you
for your program, was to enquire on your opinion of the
Jehovah's Witnesses. As happens, I had a visit from a
couple of guys the other day, and in the interest of
trying to get a concrete understanding of what's what I
agreed to meet to discuss their beliefs again in a
couple of weeks.
All the Best,
A listener from
