PREACHING | TALK RADIO | INTERNET PUBLISHING

"If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not professing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ. Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved. To be steady on all battlefields besides is mere flight and disgrace if he flinches at that point."

Martin Luther

"Meet Brandon Ridley"

Volume 2 Issue 1    January-February, 2005

Hi all!

You may have heard of me and my involvement with DJEM, and if not (or even if you have), Don thought it a good idea for me to introduce myself.

My name is Brandon, and I've lived in Huntington Beach my whole life. I recently graduated from Biola University with a degree in Christian Education.

Part of my requirement for that degree was to secure an internship at a church. I already knew Don (being a student in the college/career group at E.V Free Huntington Beach), and thought it would be good to become Don's intern. He agreed, and after my course requirement was fulfilled, I remained in the position. I have been working under Don now for two years.

Don and I work well together, and share similar philosophies of ministry. In the college/career group at church, he has taught me both formally and by example how better to teach God's Word and to lead God's people. Further, his insight of spiritual matters has been critical to my spiritual growth in these past two years.

It seems like my whole life people have told me that I should do radio (something about having a "radio voice," whatever that means!) and so, when Don asked me to join him on The Don Johnson Show as his co-host, I eagerly accepted. I have been with Don on every show so far, and look forward to continue being with you as a part of the DJEM team in the future!
